Sometimes all that we need is a little inspiration. This journal features some of the recent additions to our groups galleries, from the amazing artists on DA who generously share their personal perspectives. I have also added quotes from Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem, one of my personal "go to" writers when I need some inspiration.
“Everybody has a little bit of the sun and moon in them. Everybody has a little bit of man, woman, and animal in them. Darks and lights in them. Everyone is part of a connected cosmic system. Part earth and sea, wind and fire, with some salt and dust swimming

“The world is a wide place where we stumble like children learning to walk. The world is a bright mosaic where we learn like children to see, where our little blurry eyes strive greedily to take in as much light and love and colour and detail as they can.
The world is a coaxing whisper when the wind lips the trees, when the sea licks the shore, when animals burrow into earth and people look up at the sympathetic stars. The world is an admonishing roar when gales chase rainclouds over the plains and whip up ocean waves, when people crowd into cities or intrude into dazzling jungles.

We are back after our mild hiatus. Jenny had some very difficult personal times to tackle and with your wishes and prayers, things are better. The group is focused on being able to curate and present some of the best works from both well renowned deviants as well as new comers to the group. Scouring and searching Deviant Art for these treasures is a time consuming effort for the admins and requires a lot more dedication of time and effort. We hope that you all do enjoy browsing the galleries of Jennystokes-Favs , I do know we don't have members submissions, (well at least not yet), but we would appreciate an ackno

"And Jenny Said ..." , surprising how most of my features seem to start with "And Jenny Said...." Jenny not only is the Founder of the group, but also the instigator and inspirator of the group. While Jenny is still facing a very difficult time, with great fortitude and courage, her passion for art and the group is undiminished, but even then I am sure you will all join me in sending her wishes, luck, and love from the group.
Jenny said "We should do a Journal on Walls and Bridges". This is intended to be the first of a series of two features,
